Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including <PERSON> driver-approved trucks, to complete multiple deliveries throughout your route
- Load, unload, and organize packages in the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement for safe transit
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to meet delivery schedules promptly
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details or resolve issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory checks, heavy lifting, and stock organization when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and documentation of any incidents or delays
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong emphasis on commercial driving standards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries and navigating urban or suburban routes effectively
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with inventory management and heavy lifting procedures
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance basics

Pay: £101.68-£160.00 per day
