Complex Care Support Worker – Day & Evening Shifts
Location: Wandsworth
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Patterns
- Day Shifts: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Evening Shifts: 1:00pm – 7:00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to support an individual living with a highly complex multisystem condition. This specialist role requires continuous supervision, person-centred support, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Seizure monitoring and epilepsy management
- Moving and handling, including active-assisted movement
- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Delivering personal care while maintaining dignity and skin integrity
- Providing communication support tailored to individual needs
- Supporting sensory regulation and managing behavioural triggers, including stress and fatigue
- Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
It is not required to have all of the above skills - we are happy to upskill!
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- Experienced in complex care or high-dependency support
- Calm, observant, and proactive in your approach
- Confident in managing clinical needs and responding appropriately to changing situations
- Committed to delivering consistent, high-quality, person-centred care
- Reliable, professional, and passionate about making a positive difference
