The role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor who is ready to step into a broader, more influential role.
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening health, safety and environmental practices across our two UK sites in Leamington Spa and Wellesbourne. You will work closely with the Head of HR, senior stakeholders, line managers and facilities colleagues to design and embed practical, proportionate H&S solutions across the business.
While you will be the on‑site H&S professional, you will have access to external specialist support where required, making this role particularly well suited to someone looking to continue developing their professional capability and breadth of experience.
How you’ll work
This is a hands‑on, visible role, requiring a practical approach and strong collaborative and influencing skills. You will spend time on site, building effective relationships, supporting managers and helping employees understand their responsibilities so that health and safety becomes part of how we work every day.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a pragmatic and commercially aware Health & Safety professional who can balance legal compliance, risk management and operational practicality. Rather than taking a purely rules-based approach, the successful candidate will work closely with managers, engineers and technical specialists to understand how work is really carried out and help develop solutions that improve safety in a proportionate and workable way.
We value collaboration, constructive challenge, open discussion and a focus on outcomes. The right person will be confident giving clear advice and feedback, while remaining pragmatic, open-minded, evidence-based and receptive to alternative viewpoints.
The successful candidate will take the time to understand how our business operates before recommending improvements, balancing risk reduction with practical implementation. They will be comfortable challenging existing practices where necessary, but equally willing to listen to those with deep technical and operational expertise and work collaboratively to find solutions.
