Front of House (Café & Studio) – the mvmnt club
We’re looking for warm, energetic and detail-driven Front of House team members to join the mvmnt club, a new wellness and movement space in Peckham.
This role is at the heart of the club experience , welcoming members, delivering exceptional café service, and creating a calm, elevated environment that reflects our community-first ethos.
You’ll be working across our café and reception area, supporting both hospitality and studio operations to ensure every visit feels seamless, considered and uplifting.
Full training will be provided, but a genuine passion for hospitality, wellness and customer experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly, creating a welcoming first impression
- Take orders accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and serve coffee, matcha, smoothies and café items to a high standard
- Support light food preparation and product handling
- Maintain a clean, calm and well-presented café and seating area at all times
- Manage queue flow during peak class times (pre/post sessions)
- Share menu knowledge, including ingredients and dietary information
- Handle payments and membership-related queries confidently and professionally
- Assist with studio check-ins during busy periods
- Work collaboratively with instructors and FOH team to ensure smooth service
- Resolve any customer issues with professionalism and care
What We’re Looking For
- Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Barista experience is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills and a naturally welcoming personality
- Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a proactive, “see it and sort it” attitude
- Interest in wellness, fitness or community-led spaces
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
