Duties
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including contracts, service agreements, and partnership documents to protect organizational interests.
- Provide clear, actionable legal guidance to various departments to support business objectives and mitigate risks effectively.
- Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance across all operations.
- Assist in managing disputes or litigation processes by coordinating with external legal counsel and preparing necessary documentation.
- Develop and implement internal policies that promote ethical practices, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor changes in legislation that could impact the organization’s activities and advise on necessary adjustments.
- Foster strong negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms in contractual negotiations while maintaining positive relationships with partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (JD or equivalent), with active licensure to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven experience as a legal consultant or in-house counsel, ideally within a corporate or consulting environment.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively while safeguarding organizational interests.
- Strong analytical skills paired with meticulous attention to detail for reviewing complex legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
