Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and technically minded Technical Salesperson to join our team in Bromborough.
This role is ideal for an experienced lifting industry professional looking to combine technical expertise with commercial responsibility in a well-established business.

The Role
As Technical Sales, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, developing technical solutions and converting opportunities into profitable business.
Working closely with customers and suppliers, you will provide expert advice on hoists, crane systems, controls and lifting solutions across a wide range of industrial and entertainment applications.
You will become a trusted technical advisor to customers while helping drive the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to technical sales enquiries
- Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable lifting solutions
- Prepare detailed quotations and technical proposals
- Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into orders
- Support customers with product selection, application advice and technical guidance
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners regarding specifications and lead times
- Develop new opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline information
- Support exhibitions, customer visits and product demonstrations when required
- Assist with technical training and knowledge sharing across the business
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience within the lifting, hoisting, crane and rigging industry
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline)
- Strong technical understanding of lifting equipment and applications
- Proven sales or customer-facing experience
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and provide technical solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong organisational abilities
- Competent IT skills including CRM and Microsoft Office
Desirable
- LEEA qualifications
- Experience reading technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of lifting regulations and industry standards
