Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Bathgate. Based from our facility, you will play a vital role in transporting waste materials and recyclables, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional waste management solutions with safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed trucks and possibly other commercial vehicles, dependant on licence held, to transport waste and recyclable materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated sites while adhering to safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve service efficiency.
- Uphold safety standards to ensure a secure working environment.
- Support the company's commitment to environmental sustainability through responsible driving practices.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery or truck driver, preferably within the waste management or recycling industry, although full training will be provided.
- Minimum - Valid UK C1 driving license although Class C would be advantageous
- Must have valid CPC and Tachograph cards
- Knowledge of flatbed truck operation is highly desirable, however full training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
