Due to our continued growth and increased workload, we are looking for a Trainee Roofer to join our team on a full time basis.
We are a family run installation company established in 1963. We specialise in providing new and replacement roofs for properties throughout Wimborne, Bournemouth and the South Coast. We work on both residential properties for customers direct and with main contractors who are looking to outsource roof installations for their larger projects.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and has a genuine interest in joining the roofing trade. Experience in roofing is not required, however, any previous site or labouring experience would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, reliable and have good communication skills. They will have the ability to present themselves professionally to both our residential and commercial customers and at all times.
Training will be provided to support progression through the trade, the salary for this role will be adjusted to reflect that progression over time.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Good level of maths and English skills
- General understanding of basic health and safety training
- Able to work with materials associated with the roofing trade
- Able to work with hand tools and cordless tools
