Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional service in a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanour. Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a friendly atmosphere
- This person must be 18 years + as you will be on the bar and locking up once training as taken place.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle payments accurately providing correct change or receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Effective communication skills to engage with guests and team members positively
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and upselling opportunities
