LGV Class 2 Hiab Driver (Hiab training can be provided)
As part of the company’s growth and development, a full-time vacancy has arisen for a Class 2 Hiab driver for Multi-drop deliveries in and around the Leighton Buzzard area. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of a successful local family run business that provides excellent all-around service.
Hours of work - Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 Hiab vehicle to deliver goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and maintain a valid Category C driving licence.
- Provide excellent customer service during multi-drop deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine maintenance on the vehicle.
- Manage loading and unloading of flatbed cargo, ensuring secure transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Adhere to Health and Safety at all times.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Full CPC and Digi Taco card essential.
- Valid Hiab certificate for remote grab & hook - Training can be provided for the right candidate
- Current counter balance licence preferred but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in delivering building materials preferred but not essential.

- Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver CPC (preferred)
- HIAB / Crane Licence (preferred)
