Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation by following recipes and instructions provided by senior kitchen staff.
- Food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitised.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Assist in inventory management by helping to receive and store food supplies appropriately.
- Kitchen cleaning duties at the end of shift.
Experience
- Must have previous experience in a culinary setting such as restaurants or catering.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Portuguese speaking is essential.
