NTH Degree Catering is looking for a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to join our small team in the Edinburgh city centre at the COSLA Conference Centre.
We offer a very competitive hourly rate depending on experience and ability.
The schedule of work is Monday to Friday, 5.30-8.30. We may offer some flexibility in this for the right candidate.
We are looking for a hard-working, reliable person to oversee and maintain excellent levels of cleanliness in all of our office, meeting room and communal areas. The right candidate must have cleaning experience with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work within a team. Also must be comfortable with key holder responsibilities with the building of work.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with clients and staff.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond to client needs promptly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work consistently.
