Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across one of our commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. WORKING HOURS ARE 5PM TILL 7.15PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers to ensure availability at all times
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to a high standard
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise hazards during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning routines to the supervisor promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout the shift
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
