Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer/Support Worker to join our team located on the Rosneath Peninsula . The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to Service Users within their own home. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of Service Users.
- Administer medication when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living, or home care is desirable but not required as training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Service Users and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding towards Service Users with diverse needs.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of Service Users at all times.
- Drivers license required due to geographic location.
