Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely meal service
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and kitchen procedures to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to promote a safe and hygienic environment
- Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Serve meals efficiently while adhering to food safety protocols and presentation standards
- Support the team during busy service times by managing multiple tasks with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred; eagerness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking processes
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical stamina for standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks such as lifting or moving kitchen supplies
