Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Night Porter/Security professional to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our hospitality establishment during overnight hours. This role involves monitoring the premises, providing excellent guest services, and maintaining a secure environment for both guests and staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address security concerns or irregularities
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee all areas of the property during night shifts
- Manage access control by verifying guest and staff credentials at entry points
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with local authorities as needed
- Provide exceptional guest services by assisting with late-night inquiries, directions, or requests
- Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and security checks
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests by enforcing hotel policies and safety procedures
- Some light cleaning duties
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel security or hospitality-related roles is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and proactive during overnight hours
- Knowledge of security systems, CCTV operation,
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment
