We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires flexibility in working hours and duties to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles in line with assigned delivery routes
- Complete collections and deliveries efficiently while adhering to road traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload parcel goods and cases, ensuring all items are securely positioned for transit
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation
- Provide a courteous and professional service to customers and clients
- Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C+E) licence
- Previous experience in a professional driving role
- Experience handling parcel goods and case deliveries
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
- Availability for days, nights, and weekend work
- ADR qualification preferred but not essential
