We are seeking a caring and proactive Care Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support individuals in their daily routines, ensuring they receive respectful and tailored care. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those in your care, fostering independence and well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while respecting their dignity.
- Support clients in engaging with daily activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Follow individualised care plans to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Maintain clear, open communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure consistent support.
- Use your driving skills to safely transport clients to appointments, errands, or social outings when required.
- Keep accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary using simple IT systems.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
PAY
£13.81 WEEKDAYS
£14.81 WEEKENDS
£9.81 TRAVEL TIME
35P PER MILE
DOUBLE PAY BANK HOLIDAYS.
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record is highly desirable..
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating care records efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and dignity.
