The Role
We are looking for a highly experienced carpenter to join our skilled team. This is a hands-on role for someone confident across all aspects of carpentry, from structural work to detailed finishes.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional carpentry experience
- Fully competent in both first fix and second fix carpentry
- Must be proficient in cutting in roofs and understanding structural timber work
- Able to read and work from detailed drawings with minimal supervision
- Skilled in using all standard carpentry tools and equipment
- Clean driving licence and own transport preferred
- CSCS card is advantageous but not essential
Duties Will Include
- Installing structural frameworks and partitions
- Hanging doors, fitting skirting, architraves and ironmongery
- Roof construction and all associated joinery
- Working both independently and as part of a small team
- Maintaining high levels of site cleanliness and safety
