Are you looking for a new career opportunity? Would you like to join a successful but small nursery of only 24 children as Nursery Assistant? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then this might be just the role for you!
We are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant to start immediately. This position could open you to do apprenticeships with us and lead to promotions in the following years if you are competent. We are able to offer 20 - 30 hours per week from 9:00 - 1:00 or until 3:00pm. There are also opportunities for nanny jobs for some of our families in the afternoons if you would like but these are shared as and when they come up.
We are seeking applicants who are hands on, confident in dealing with children, and have some leadership skills that can be developed. You will be teaching a small group of 1 - 3 year olds so will need some experience with this age group.
Our nursery is easily accessible from Earls Court or Gloucester Road Tube Station and is in a fantastic part of Kensington & Chelsea.
Level 2 is essential but if you are just about to start one we can consider a placement or apprenticeship. Salary can be discussed at a later stage depending on various factors. The rate mentioned is only a guide.
To be shortlisted for this Nursery Assistant position, you will need to:
- Be Flexible
- Have Excellent communication skills specially in English
- Some knowledge of the EYFS Policy & Procedures
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as in your own initiative
- Minimum Level 2 or anyone willing to pursue a career in Early Years will be considered
- Relevant teaching experience in a Nursery/Primary School
- Committed to the quality and safeguarding of the children
- References and DBS
