About the Role
PitchYourSkills is looking for a driven, highly organised, and proactive Assistant Camp Manager for our upcoming summer residential football camp at Harrow School.You will work directly underneath our Camp Manager, acting as their right-hand person to support daily operations. This is a fully residential role, meaning you will stay on-site for the duration of the 5 days to help look after our cohort of 16 players aged 13–16.
Key Responsibilities
- Kit Management & Laundry (Main Duty): Prepare player kits every single morning ahead of training. You will also lead on washing and prepping the training kits each evening so they are clean and ready for the next day.
- Daily Player Care: Assist with the everyday needs of the 16 players, ensuring they are safe, on time, and supported throughout the residential.
- Social & Evening Activities: Plan, set up, and run post-training social activities for the players, such as organising FIFA tournaments or evening downtime.
- Night-time Supervision: Assist the Camp Manager and Housemaster with evening room checks and ensuring players are settled and quiet by "lights out".
- General Operational Support: Assist the Camp Manager and coaching staff across the campus wherever needed to keep the camp running smoothly.
- Team Communication: Act as a helpful link between the players and the Head of Camp when required.
Who We Are Looking For
You do not need previous experience working in football. We are simply looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable, and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable managing and talking to players aged 13–16.
- Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure in a high-energy role.
- Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Must hold an active Enhanced DBS certificate or be completely willing to be put forward for one immediately.
- Candidates may be asked to provide professional references.
