The QA Operator will contribute to the Polymermedics manufacturing business by supporting with the general operation, packing and inspection of all manufactured items produced in their designated manufacturing area.
· Reporting of all HS&E incidents, unsafe acts & near miss incidents.
· Support the implementation of HS&E corrective actions.
· Always maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping.
· Ensures that all work is carried out in line with company policy, procedures & CGMP guidelines.
· Correct & timely completion of all batch documentation.
· Inspection of all manufactured items against agreed quality standards.
· Ensures that all IPC samples are taken & inspected in line with the specification documents & SOIs.
· Correct packaging & labelling of all products that meet the agreed quality standards.
· Answer all machine alarms and take appropriate actions to maintain their designated machines in production.
· Ensure the highest level of housekeeping and 5s is maintained in their area of responsibility.
· Accurate cGMP-compliant reporting of all manufacturing activities using ERP & paperwork systems as defined in the operational procedures & SOIs.
· Conduct an effective & efficient shift handover.
· Communicates issues to the relevant departments for corrective action as & when required.

You will be checking the quality of the items manufactured , packing, running a bank of machines and filling out the correct paperwork, keeping the production area clean and tidy.
Previous experience is not required as full Training will be provided.
You will be working a 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern, working 4 Days 7am to 7pm, 4 Days off then 4 nights 7pm to 7am. This does include weekends and bank holidays. The factory does shutdown for a week towards the end of July/beginning of August and a Christmas/ new year shutdown.(this does come out of your annual leave entitlement. which is 23 days for a full Leave Year.
Rates of pay Days £13.90 and Nights £14.59
A paid shift is 10.30 hours due to 3 x 30 minute unpaid breaks during the 12 hour shift.
