About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and organised Office Administrator with plumbing knowledge or experience working in a plumbing merchants/store. This role is ideal for someone who understands plumbing parts and systems and is looking to transition into an office-based position supporting engineers and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting engineers with sourcing and ordering plumbing parts and materials
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries
- Managing stock lists and ensuring timely procurement of required items
- Handling general administrative duties including emails, filing, and data entry
- Coordinating job schedules and supporting office operations
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases and job-related documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in plumbing, plumbing supplies, or a plumbing merchant environment
- Good knowledge of plumbing parts and materials
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confident communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience in an office or administrative role
- Familiarity with ordering systems or inventory management
