Production Line Leader

ISS is a leading service provider in the UK Fresh Produce sector. Since 2014, we have grown to operate four sites across Kent, employing over 1,300 colleagues. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Production Line Leader to support the performance and efficiency of our packing operations.
About the Role
This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where you will support the day‑to‑day running of a packing line. You will help coordinate the team, operate machinery and ensure products are packed to the required quality and timelines. You will also play a key role in minimising downtime and driving performance improvements.
4 on 4 off shift pattern- day shift and night shift available.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and support the team to deliver daily production targets.
- Ensure products are packed on time and meet customer quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records including works orders, waste and downtime.
- Monitor line performance and report issues to Engineering where required.
- Ensure production plans are followed and jobs are completed accurately.
- Promote high standards of health & safety, hygiene and PPE compliance.
- Support team performance, raising concerns where needed and leading by example.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Production and QC teams.

- Confidence operating machinery and working to KPIs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Organised, reliable and proactive mindset.
- Basic IT skills for recording and tracking production data.
