We are currently seeking a confident and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisor to work in a range of secondary schools across Liverpool starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

Support students in completing assigned work

Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Work across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A flexible and proactive approach

A degree (preferred but not essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
