Responsibilities
- Lead the development of enterprise-level applications utilizing.NET framework, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems.
- Develop front-end components using Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to create engaging user interfaces.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web applications.
- Write clean, efficient code with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability; perform code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Integrate various databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle for data storage solutions.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality; utilize tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitHub, TFS, SVN for version control and continuous integration.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to plan sprints, prioritize tasks, and deliver features on schedule.
- Document system architecture using UML diagrams; design database schemas and optimize queries for performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies such as AWS, Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, SOAP/REST web services, and containerization.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role with extensive knowledge of.NET technologies including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Strong background in front-end development using Angular or React frameworks along with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party web services using SOAP or other protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications; experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), UML design principles, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and Agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Knowledge of version control systems including Git or SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- Ability to write automated tests for application components; experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong debugging capabilities across multiple environments including Linux and Windows servers.

Pay: £43,372.97-£103,106.64 per year
