Are you an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment? We're seeking a confident and capable manager to lead our Twilight Shift, taking ownership of performance, team engagement and operational delivery. Warehouse, logistics or distribution experience would be an advantage.
This is more than a supervisory role. As the most senior leader on shift, you will be trusted to make decisions, resolve challenges and drive operational success while the wider business is offline. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a positive, high-performing culture and ensuring the shift consistently delivers against operational targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking full responsibility for the smooth running of the night shift operation
- Leading, motivating, and developing your team to hit targets in a safe and efficient way
- Ensuring all orders, system tasks, and shift objectives are completed accurately before handover
- Overseeing picking, packing, and stock rotation with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Acting as the main point of decision-making during the shift
- Supporting team performance through coaching, guidance, and hands-on involvement
- Ensuring high standards of cleaning, housekeeping, and shift readiness for the next day
- Maintaining compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Hygiene standards
- Monitoring shift performance and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, ready to step into your first management-level position
- Ideally from a food, beverage, warehouse, or production environment
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Confidence to lead independently and make decisions on shift
- A proactive, organised approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a night shift environment
- Experience across stock control, picking, packing, or production operations

Hours & Shift Pattern
- 45 hours per week
- Twilight shift: 5:00pm – 2:30am
- 5 shifts out of 6 on a rota basis (no Saturday evenings)
- Includes Bank Holidays
Possibly considering a change to 4 day week
