Job Overview
T M Pearson Skip Hire are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant road safety and transportation regulations.
Working Hours Monday Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Required
- 1 year experience preferably on skip vehicles. Training can be given to the right candidate.
- No serious endorsements on driving licence (DR/DG/IN).
- Above 25 years old due to insurance policy
- Valid and up to date drivers CPC, Class II Licence and Digital Tachograph.
- Good local geographical knowledge and surrounding areas in Chesterfield
- Good customer service manner.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and unload goods
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, maintaining punctuality
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
