We are seeking an experienced part-time kitchen assistant/Baker to support our existing Baker and to step up and cover their role during holidays.
Broadly the hours are as below, but we can be flexible for the right person:-
Wednesday 1000 - 1700
Thursday 1130 - 1700
Friday 1100 - 1700
Saturday 1000 - 1700
Sunday - 1100 - 1600
We have flexibility around start and finish times but less so the days required. Please do not apply if you cannot work these days or if you do not have the experience of working in a busy kitchen.
Key responsibilities are:-
- Preparing food to a high standard
- Baking cakes, scones, pie, quiche and other sweet and savoury products following specifications and recipes
- Occasionally loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Helping to maintain a clean kitchen throughout the day and after the shift to the required level within standard operating procedures
- On occassion creating order lists of food to be ordered.
The ideal candidate must have a sense of humour and be able to work independently or as part of a team, have a positive, relaxed attitude to working in a very busy environment and be able to keep up with the exceptional level of cleanliness required in the kitchen.
