Duties
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and sort linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.
- Ensure all laundry items meet cleanliness and quality standards before distribution.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of linens and supplies, reordering as necessary to prevent shortages.
- Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the storage, organization, and timely delivery of linens to various departments within the facility.
- Monitor laundry processes regularly to identify issues or equipment malfunctions and report them promptly.
- Support the overall cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace at all times.
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand industry standards and guest service expectations.
