Chrysalis Care Fostering Agency is seeking a dedicated, empathetic and proactive Support Worker to join our close-knit Children's Services team, for 21 hours per week.

Job Overview
- Job Title: Children’s Services Support Worker
- Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week (Flexible shift patterns)
- Salary: £24,470 - £26,930 ft (pro rata @21 hours a week)
- Location: Field and office-based, covering mainly London, Kent and the Home Counties
Role and Duties
As part of our specialised Children's Services team, you will provide child-centred support, activities and interventions, to ensure that children engage in positive activity, have fun and to help stabilise foster placements, via supporting foster carers.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering one-to-one mentoring and group workshops, advocacy and emotional support to children and young people
- Running independence skills programmes
- Leading and engaging in a range of fun, engaging youth activities
- Assisting with necessary transport and contact supervision, when required
- Collaborating with our supervising social workers to ensure safe, nurturing home environments

What We Need From You
- Experience working with children, young people, or within a care/support setting
- The skills set to provide a relational, resilient and highly organised approach to supporting vulnerable children and people and their foster carers.
- A full UK driving license (for professional duties, there will be access to a manual pool car)
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
