We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Apprentice to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications under supervision
- Support pharmacy technicians with inventory management and stock organisation
- Provide basic medication administration support, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Engage in patient care activities, including answering queries and providing information about medications
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations
- Help ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment
- Participate in training sessions to develop understanding of pharmacy procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or related role is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of medication administration processes is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a caring approach towards patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully
- A genuine interest in healthcare and patient wellbeing
- Willingness to undertake training and develop professional skills in pharmacy practice
