Health & Safety Advisor (Projects & Compliance)
Fixed-Term Contract – 6 Months
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Health & Safety Advisor (Projects & Compliance) to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role supports a diverse farm attraction, leads implementation of a new online health and safety management platform, supports compliance, contractor management, seasonal events and projects. Minimum 18 hours per week with additional hours as required. Flexibility regarding working days is essential and reasonable notice will be provided where practicable.
About Us
Our family-run farm attraction site includes a farm shop, bakery, butchery, delicatessen, restaurant, café, indoor play barn, adventure golf, wild wheels outdoor buggies, animal areas, seasonal events, offices, grounds and facilities, with ongoing development projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide health and safety advice across all departments.
· Implement and maintain an online health and safety management platform with set up to be completed within the 6 month contract period
· Review policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work as needed for implementation on the new platform
· Conduct inspections, audits and investigations.
· Support managers with legal compliance.
· Coordinate health and safety for projects and seasonal events.
· Manage contractor compliance, including RAMS, inductions and site monitoring.
· Promote a positive health and safety culture.
Essential Requirements
· Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor/Officer role.
· NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
· Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
· Experience with online H&S systems.
· Experience managing contractor compliance
· Strong communication, organisation and IT skills.

Experience:
- health and safety consulting: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
