Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service periods.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and handling.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients within your section and communicate needs for restocking.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of your work station at all times, adhering to health regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
