This is an exciting and rewarding role for a highly motivated individual who has excellent organisation and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide and diverse range of people including students, parents and education staff so good interpersonal skills are required.
The successful candidate will be provided the opportunity to train on the job. Woodlands Meed will support you to undertake Teacher Training for Post-16 Further Education.
Applicants must be able to evidence Level 2 Maths & English qualifications (equivalent to GCSE A*-C grade) and provide certificates to support their application.
It is preferable for you to have a relevant Hospitality and Catering qualification, at level 3 and have at least two years’ professional experience of food preparation.
Salary: £26,684 - £28,988
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, term time only
Location: Woodlands Meed College

What You Need to Succeed
Do you have Hospitality and Catering skills, knowledge and experience?
Would you like to work with young people in a new educational catering environment?
Would you like to train as a Hospitality and Catering instructor or Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification?
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Instructor to lead, plan and deliver learning in a kitchen environment. The successful applicant will train groups of special education needs and disabilities college students how to prepare healthy food whilst developing independence skills. The role will also provide the provide the right candidate with the opportunity to lead our Inspire café enterprise.
