Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shipping Container Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and customizing shipping containers using advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills. Your expertise will ensure the durability and quality of our containers, supporting logistics, storage, and transportation needs. Responsibilities
- Patching, straightening, and repairing damaged shipping containers.
- Utilize welding techniques to repair shipping containers with precision and quality.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), during welding and fabrication tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and structural fabrication
- Experience in repairing shipping containers in a fast paced environment
- Quality and Attention to detail, with a high standard of finish
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Prior experience working with sheet metal, welding equipment, and basic assembly tasks is highly desirable.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
