Nursery Manager — Little Aisha Finchley
Salary: £35,000 per year

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a thriving setting and make it their own. You'll work closely with the directors to deliver outstanding childcare, stamping your own personality on the setting while upholding its very high standards.
As a hands-on Manager, you'll be fully responsible for the operational running of the nursery — leading a dedicated team of staff, maximising their talent and experience, and continuing to drive forward an already excellent learning programme.
You'll offer a supportive, nurturing environment to your team, inspiring them to deliver the best possible service to every family who walks through the door. You'll have a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted results under your direct management.
What you'll be responsible for
- Achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education
- Leading and managing the staff team, including recruitment, retention, day-to-day guidance, training and support
- Ensuring all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
- Keeping up to date with current early years thinking and trends
- Managing the nursery's budget and occupancy levels to ensure profitability and growth
- Building strong relationships with parents through an effective liaison programme
- Overseeing all day-to-day operations, including marketing, HR, quality assurance, and health & safety
What you'll bring
- A recognised early years qualification (Level 3 or above, e.g. CACHE, NVQ)
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and the EYFS
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards
- Previous supervisory or management experience in an early years setting
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
- Strong people management skills
- Understanding of equal opportunities and SENCO practices
- Sound business acumen with the ability to plan for and manage commercial success
- Enhanced DBS check (required for all applicants)
