We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
· Assist and supervise bar staff, floor staff and runners.
· Follow up on the availability of products on offer.
· Ensure the bar is properly stocked at the beginning and throughout service.
· Oversee the orderly management of the wine cellar.
· Handling unexpected issues, such as staff shortages, equipment breakdowns, or customer
· Handling customer and staff complaints, in a timely and efficient manner.
· Training of new staff and ensuring excellent training is achieved.
· Conduct inspections of the entire restaurant to ensure everything is in order.
· Coordinate with HR on staff absenteeism and sick time off.
· Confirm delivery of products by suppliers and address delivery issues.
· perform opening and closing duties as required
· Assist all areas of service as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the business.
· Work with Restaurant managers
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role.
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Food safety certification is a plus.
· Bar experience is desirable
