JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Cleaner to work at a leisure centre based in Newhaven, Edinburgh, EH6
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the leisure centre, including:
- Reception and public areas
- Changing rooms and toilets
- Gym and fitness studios
- Sports halls and activity rooms
- Offices and staff areas
- Poolside areas (where applicable)
- Carry out routine cleaning duties including:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Emptying bins and waste disposal
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and equipment
- Replenishing hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Ensure all cleaning work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals following COSHH guidelines
- Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards, or stock shortages to management
- Assist with deep cleaning schedules and periodic cleaning tasks
- Respond promptly to spillages and cleanliness issues to maintain a safe environment
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with centre users
Requirements:
Candidates must have previous cleaning experience.
Shift Patterns Available:
6am-1:30pm
6:30am-2pm
9am-4pm
2:30pm-10:30pm
Working 3-5 shifts per week - we can offer flexible working
Pay:
£12.71 per hour
