Job Title: Works Engineer – Dust Control Systems
Location: Wakefield Position: Full-time (35.5 hours/week, with overtime when required)
About the Role: We are seeking a hands-on, reliable, and proactive Works Engineer to join our team specialising in dust control and environmental systems. Based in Wakefield, this role offers a varied working day that combines technical assembly, equipment operation, and logistical support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assemble and test dust control filters and related systems to required specifications
· Carry out deliveries and collections as needed (a valid driving licence is essential)
· Operate forklift trucks and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
· Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
· Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to team success
· Take initiative and responsibility for your work, promoting continuous improvement in processes and systems
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· Full UK driving licence
· Forklift truck and overhead crane operation experience (certifications advantageous)
· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong commitment to health and safety practices
· Enthusiasm for identifying ways to improve productivity and efficiency
