Ryeland Surgery is a friendly, patient-focused GP practice committed to delivering high-quality care and excellent service to our local community. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Patient Services Team Leader to support our Patient Services Team and help ensure the smooth running of our patient facing services.
About The Role
As Patient Services Team Lead, you will provide day-to-day support and guidance to the reception team, acting as a senior point of contact and role model. You will help maintain high standards of patient service, support colleagues, and work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure reception services operate efficiently and effectively.
This is a hands-on role, combining reception and telephone duties with leadership responsibilities.
Hours: 37.5 hrs/wk Mon-Thur 0800-1600, Fri 1030-1830
About You
We are looking for someone who:
· Has previous experience in leading a patient or customer facing team.
· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Enjoys supporting and developing colleagues.
· Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment.

This is a Team Leader position and does not include formal line management responsibilities. Matters relating to recruitment, disciplinary procedures, performance management and formal appraisals remain the responsibility of the Operations Manager.
