We are looking for a head chef to join our busy kitchen team.
We are a small friendly team.
All shifts are daytime hours this does include every other weekend.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy café kitchen preparing and serving food to order, creating daily/weekly specials to showcase our own and local produce, whilst maintaining a safe kitchen environment and adhering to all health & safety and allergen regulations.
This job also involves planning specials, costing out of meals and budgeting, haccp, ordering and running a team of 5.
Our kitchen is a very busy working environment providing quality food for our busy café. As all the hours are between 8:30am and 5pm it makes for a great work- life balance especially for kitchen work. Great food and a great team to work with in the kitchen and front of house. Extra hours are available to cover holidays and sickness.
30 hours per week.
Pay dependant on experience. You will be paid regular tips as well as benefiting from a generous staff discount, pension scheme also available.
