Due to continued business success and growth at Gilbert Davies Solicitors we are currently searching for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Legal Support Assistant. The role will be working within our small, friendly and busy team who have a strong team working and supportive ethic.
This role will include providing all round secretarial and administrative support, including liaising with clients and answering basic queries, reception duties, audio typing, diary management, producing documents and maintaining filing and record systems and undertaking general administrative tasks such as photocopying and file archiving.
This position is suited to an organised person with excellent interpersonal skills with ideally at least 1+ years’ experience in an office environment.
Type of person we are looking for:
· Computer literate and good typing accuracy
· Excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of client service
· Able to work on your own initiative and meet tight deadlines
· Understands the importance of confidentiality
· Someone who is trustworthy, reliable, calm under pressure and a great communicator
We are flexible on hours/days of work and will consider full or part time applications. Full training in our systems will be provided.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and willing to work independently and as a valuable member of a friendly team to achieve shared goals. We would prefer some previous legal knowledge in private client, property, family and/or litigation however this is not essential but we will expect an openness to learning these areas of law and excellent client care service.
