Forever 13 is a nurturing and therapeutic 3-bed children's home supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our leadership team and help us continue to provide outstanding care for children and young people.

About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager to lead and develop the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained. You will support the staff team to create a warm, stable, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team through supervision, coaching, and positive role modelling.
- Ensure children's care plans are implemented effectively and outcomes are regularly reviewed.
- Promote safeguarding and ensure all incidents, concerns, and complaints are managed appropriately.
- Support with rota management, audits, and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Build positive relationships with families, social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working within a Children's Residential Home.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience supervising or leading staff teams.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding, children's legislation, and the Children's Homes Regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
- Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager.
