Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Junior Account Executive to support the day‑to‑day management of customer accounts within the fresh produce sector. You’ll help coordinate supply, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure smooth commercial delivery in a fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in commercial, supply chain, or account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of key customer accounts with a focus on communication, service, and reliability.
- Work closely with customers to understand weekly programmes, forecasts, and volume requirements.
- Help prepare customer updates, reports, and commercial summaries.
- Translate customer demand into clear supply requirements across multiple growers and origins.
- Liaise with growers, exporters, and logistics partners to ensure availability and service levels.
- Assist with planning weekly supply, monitoring orders, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Support pricing discussions, cost reviews, and margin checks.
- Analyse data, forecasts, and cost models to help inform commercial decisions.
- Monitor supply chain performance and highlight risks or opportunities.
- Help identify and research potential new customers or opportunities.
- Contribute to onboarding new accounts and strengthening the customer portfolio.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, growers, and service providers.
What you Will Bring
- Confidence communicating with customers and suppliers in a fast‑moving environment.
- Experience or exposure to fresh produce, supply chain, or commercial roles (preferred but not essential).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to support decision‑making.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with ERP or planning systems.
- A willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow within the commercial team.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
