The role will provide a friendly and reassuring presence during weekends, school holidays, peak periods and special events, supporting the smooth running of the venue and helping visitors enjoy their day with confidence.
They will help maintain a safe, welcoming and family-friendly environment while supporting the smooth operation of the venue.
The role will include access control, visitor management, conflict resolution, safeguarding support and emergency response, helping guests enjoy their experience safely.
Provide a visible security presence across all Hobbledown West London Ltd attractions to deter anti-social behaviour and promote a safe, family-friendly environment.
Monitor and patrol the site during operating hours, peak periods and special events.
Identify and respond to security, safety and welfare concerns.
Manage crowd control and visitor flow to support the safe movement of guests.
Provide additional crowd-management support during busy periods, events and emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate first-response action.
Support conflict-management procedures and help de-escalate challenging situations.
Assist with evacuation procedures when required.
Liaise with emergency services where necessary.
Support safeguarding and guest-welfare procedures.
Assist vulnerable persons, lost children and guests who require support or intervention.
Conduct access-control duties where required.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, staff access points and event-specific admission requirements.
Prevent and de-escalate conflict using effective communication and conflict-management techniques.
Carry out duties in line with SIA training and company procedures.
Work closely with operational teams and management.
Provide security support to help attractions, events and guest experiences run safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures.
Support risk-management measures and contribute to a safe environment for guests, employees and contractors.
This role is based across both indoor and outdoor areas of the attraction. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in all weather conditions throughout the year.
