P.P. O'Connor were established in 1960 and are a leading force in the construction industry specialising in civil engineering, demolition and deconstruction, bulk earthworks and remediation, utilities, construction, sustainable disposal and aggregate supply.
We operate an extensive in‑house fleet of modern, fully maintained high‑tech plant and machinery, all serviced in our on-site garage at our Trafford Park Head Office.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Garage team and help keep our HGV fleet in excellent working condition.
Typical duties will include:
- Maintaining the HGV fleet
- Carrying out weekly inspections
- MOT preparation and inspection
- General defects & vehicle wear and tear
- Supporting wider garage operations as needed
Requirements
- 5 years experience in a similar role (essential)
- Class 1 HGV licence (preferred)
