Responsibilities
- Install doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail
- Fit and assemble fixtures using hand tools and power tools efficiently
- Conduct fabrication and assembly of custom joinery components as per project specifications
- Perform roofing tasks such as installing fascia boards or soffits when required
- Assist with construction painting, ensuring surfaces are prepared and finished smoothly
- Support plumbing, electrical, masonry, or other trades during the finishing phase as needed
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and components into position
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 2nd fix carpenter or in a similar carpentry role within construction projects
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, fabrication, and assembly techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Familiarity with roofing installation and general construction painting processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
- Basic understanding of plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
