Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to safety standards
- Assist with minor carpentry or surface repairs as needed to support overall project completion
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with different types of paints, wallpapers, finishes, and decorating techniques
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting tools and materials between sites
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and clients
- Ability to interpret project plans and specifications accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner

Pay: £14.47-£23.25 per hour
