Summary
We are seeking a Yard Operative to join our team in Clough, Co Down. This vital role involves supporting our operational activities and ensuring efficient handling of goods and equipment. Join us and contribute to the ongoing success of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with collecting and loading agri materials and other products.
- Receive, unload, check, and store deliveries accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard at all times.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock counts.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and securely.
- Support drivers with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and product assistance when required.
- Work closely with store and warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
Essential Requirements
- 3 years previous experience in an agri yard or builders yard
- Farming knowledge/background
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance/telehandler).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Hours of work
- Mon - Friday 8am - 5.30pm
- Every other Saturday 8am - 1pm
